Kristie Tate, MA, founder of Monarch Link, supports contractors of state-funded child care and development programs. After years of seeing the need for accessible training and resource, especially during policy changes and staff turnover, she created Monarch Link to provide ongoing operational training and tools that help agencies adapt and operate efficiently.
Kristie brings 30 + years of experience in early education, including roles as a Licensed Family Child Care Home Provider, Enrollment Specialist, Child Care Services Supervisor, and Program Coordinator overseeing staff, funding sources, regulations, and subcontractors. She earned a Master of Arts in Human Development with a specialization in Leadership in Education and Human Services in 2006 from Pacific Oaks College. She has trained multiple agencies locally and throughout California, helping them navigate complex regulations and maintain compliance.
She is a committed leader known for building partnerships, streamlining systems, making data-driven decisions, maintaining sound budgets, and fostering strong relationships with families and staff.
Jannie Zazueta Perez
Learning & Development Specialist
Jannie Zazueta Perez, MA, is the Learning & Development Specialist at Monarch Link, bringing over 16 years of experience within child care and development programs. Her background includes serving as an Enrollment Specialist, overseeing an Alternative Payment Program, and working as a Program Manager for state-funded programs, where she provided guidance and oversight to directly operated and subcontracted programs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Stanislaus, and a Master of Arts in Human Development with an emphasis in Leadership in Education and Human Services from Pacific Oaks College.
At Monarch Link, Jannie develops training materials and presentations aligned with program requirements and facilitates engaging in-person and virtual training sessions. She also translates pathway resources to ensure accessibility and inclusivity, supporting programs with clear guidance and meaningful professional development that strengthens services for children and families.
